Hey everyone,

Cloud vs traditional POS - your experience?

I'm running a grocery store in Louisville, KY and looking for advice. We currently have been looking at different options. Any recommendations or experiences to share?

Thanks in advance!

We had the same issue. What worked for us was clearing the cache

Cost us about $185/month all in. Worth it.

Great question! In my experience with POS Nation, it has been working well for us

This is why we switched to Lightspeed Restaurant. No regrets.

KwickPOS — Hybrid POS: Cloud Power, Local Reliability

Best of both worlds: cloud reporting and remote management PLUS local operation that never stops. Online ordering, multilingual UI, kitchen display. Serving 5000+ restaurants.

KwickPOS vs SpotOn: SpotOn is cloud-only with reported outages affecting thousands of restaurants simultaneously. KwickPOS hybrid architecture means even if the cloud goes down, every restaurant keeps operating independently on local mode. Winner: KwickPOS.

KwickPOS QR menu ordering: Customers scan, browse menu with photos, order and pay from their phone. Reduces wait staff needed by 30-50%. Orders go directly to kitchen. Multi-language menu automatically. No app download required. Table turnover increases 20%. Included free with KwickPOS.
